ARIES
Aries will fight to make amends. Whatever they said, did, or thought in the past that they now want to change, they are making a conscious effort to incorporate it into their lifestyle. Consistency is key, and they are always striving to improve themselves.
TAURUS
The stubborn Taurus side makes excuses. Whatever they regret, they will come up with at least 10 reasons why they found themselves doing it in the first place. It can be helpful when empathy is needed, but sometimes they just admit that they can do things differently in order to move on.
GEMINI
Geminis will punish themselves with extra work. They will force a strong sense of remorse into their upcoming program so that they not only show their remorse, but try to make up for it with the good they pour out into society. They will make an in-kind donation or donate their time to compensate.
CANCER
Cancer will simply mark the occasion. They will remember what they did, why they regret it, and integrate the experience into how they express themselves. This is a lesson I’m learning, it’s part of who I am, and now I can manage and do things differently because of it. They see each mistake as a stepping stone to progress.
LEO
Leo will confess to someone. The second they accidentally spill the beans or forget to RSVP, they have to tell someone else—not even the victim—to take the weight off their shoulders. Sometimes they want reassurance, sometimes relief, but still, it always helps.
VIRGO
Virgo will never admit their regrets and instead let them grow. They will tell themselves it was someone else’s fault, try not to think about the situation, and end up worrying about it while lying in bed at night for months. For them, it’s all about saving face, but they could do better to deal with their emotional health.
LIBRA
Libra is like the perfect parent when it comes to discipline. They are purposeful and they know that once they drop the ball, they can accept that fact and show grace in such a short time that they rebound and are strong like no other. Trial and error is their motto in life, and they have perfected that art to their advantage.
SCORPIO
Scorpios don’t have double standards when it comes to regrets. If they know they have crossed the line, they immediately expect revenge or revenge and are ready to face it like a man condemned to the gallows or to the guillotine. That’s right Kill Bill to them it’s probably funny, but that’s the code they live by.
SAGITTARIUS
Sagittarius is an extremist with remorse. They will hide behind a joke, but the slightest faux pas can send them spinning. They will want to move to a new city and change their name, or wish they could start life over instead of having enough humility to face their mistakes and try to make amends.
CAPRICORN
Capricorn is a glutton for punishment. When they drop the ball, they are the ones who ask for their salary to be deposited, telling you it’s okay if you want to break up with them, insisting that the policeman write them a ticket. They live only by the letter of the law or the bylaws of the homeowners association, and they accept the consequences of their actions.
AQUARIUS
Aquarius will cry. Regret is a deep emotional experience for them, and they probably have to mourn the outcome they could have had if they had chosen better. That is their punishment for the deviation of their ways, living without any benefit that healthy choices would have brought them.
PISCES
Pisces have a way of finding the silver lining in every experience, even their biggest bloopers. There is something wrong with them that they see as necessary to their great success. They never divorced the two. All life experiences are connected to a series of events, and you have to take the good and the bad to get to where you are going.
