The van is a Volkswagen T4, sold in North America as a Eurovan, and the high roof marks it as a modification of the Winnebago camper which was the official US version at the time. The long-nosed front nods to the 1997 model year, when VW stretched the body to fit the larger VR6 engine.
Sasha, full name Alexander “Sasha” Pete Schreiber, is 18 years old and a freshman at USC. He was photographed in New York with his sister Kai, meeting friends on the street without a companion.
His parents drive what famous people drive. He is a 28-year-old van driver.
