Create PPTs, PDFs, and Excel Spreadsheets in seconds with Kimi K2.5

Earlier this month, Moonshot AI dropped a bomb on the AI world with the Kimi K2.5. With a 1 trillion parameter MoE model with 32 billion active parameters, the Kimi K2.5 roared onto the scene, shaking off the likes of the GPT 5 and Gemini 3 Pro. At that time, we gathered that it is one of the strongest contenders for the title of ‘the best open source model of 2026.’ In this article, we’ll explore some of the features of the Kimi K2.5 that make it worthy of all the awards that are readily available all over the internet.
To recall, Moonshot AI calls Kimi K2.5 ‘Visual Agent Intelligence.’ And once you use it, you will know that it comes with very powerful features that earn it the respect that such a title demands. Here, we will examine these one by one. From the ability to create Spreadsheets to Slides and Docs, we’re going to test the Kimi K2.5 for these features that are considered the pinnacle of what AI can do.
We’ll dive right into these skills, testing them as we go. But first, a brief about what the Kimi K2.5 is and what it brings to the table.

What is Kimi K2.5?
In terms of technology, the Kimi K2.5 is a next-generation open-source model built on the architecture and training of the Kimi K2. With significant improvements in the latter, it is now at the forefront of agent thinking, vision, and execution at scale, integrating text, images, videos, and tools into all of its operations.
Note that Kimi K2.5 differs from the self-directed agent paradigm. Meaning that instead of relying on pre-defined workflows, the system can now automatically spawn and coordinate up to 100 sub-agents. By doing so, it enables thousands of synchronized tasks to run in parallel. This allows the Kimi K2.5 to work independently across complex, multi-step tasks without requiring manual orchestration.

My Take
Kimi K2.5 not only did its job of inputting information in an attractive way, but it did it at a high level not found in any other AI tool. Examine the structure, text styles, theme, and statistical organization of data within the presentation. The presentation itself looks so technical and attractive that you tend to forget the appeal of the raw, authentic data that Kimi K2.5 is able to pull alone from the farthest corners of the internet. Since it communicates with the sources and you, you can always be assured of the quality of the data within your work.
But never forget, AI can make mistakes, so be sure to double-check your facts and figures to make the most of it.
Create Entire Excel Worksheets in Seconds
Microsoft Excel is one of the most sought-after skills, especially in the world of data and statistics. Although in the era of artificial intelligence, it was only a matter of time before AI made Excel and spreadsheets accessible to non-technical users as well. Lo and behold, the Kimi K2.5 is now leading the way once again, taking things to a whole new level.
With Kimi K2.5, you can now easily tell what you want to the chatbot in your favorite language, and the AI model will follow it perfectly to get a good result. Don’t you believe me? My Take
Just look at the feedback and you know that the Kimi k2.5 has done its job perfectly. Note that the worksheet that comes with it is not editable within the window. You will need to download it before making any changes.
From the first sheet, Kimi K2.5 calculates all columns and rows perfectly. It then fills in the information as instructed. In pictures 1 to 3, you can see the editing done on the 3 sheets on the left. See also the Excel workbook on the right.
In images 4 to 6, you can see that entering data in any one of the sheets corresponds to a change in the correct value in the following sheets. This proves that Kimi K2.5 not only produces a professional looking Excel sheet, but also works as intended.
Generate Powerful PDFs with a Single Prompt
If presentations and spreadsheets are about thinking, PDFs are about delivery. It’s the stuff you send to clients, send to stakeholders, archive for reference, or publish for the world to read. And this is where many AI tools still stumble. They can produce text, sure, but turning that text into a well-structured, well-formatted PDF, complete with headings, tables, spacing, and logical flow, often requires a lot of manual cleanup.
This is where the Kimi K2.5 quietly transforms into its true power. The clearest and biggest difference from other AI tools I found was its first-class output format. With proper information, it not only writes the content but compiles the complete document.
Go ahead, take a look at the sample information we tested, and the output after that. You will surely be surprised as I am.

My Take
As you can see in the video, Kimi K2.5 came up with one of the best AI-generated PDFs I’ve ever seen. With excellent formatting, professional layout design, and the knowledge that comes with it, the AI model certainly ranks as one of the (if not the) best options for producing the most useful PDFs in seconds.
The conclusion
Kimi K2.5 makes one thing very clear: AI is no longer just about generating answers. It has now advanced to delivering complete, usable goods. Whether it’s presentations that look customer-friendly, Excel workbooks that work as intended, or PDFs that read like polished reports, the Kimi K2.5 always crosses the line from “assistant” to “operator.” What stands out is the speed and execution. The output is organized, connected, and fast.
That being said, this is not an excuse to extinguish one’s judgment. Remember, AI can still be smooth, so validation remains non-negotiable. But as a heavy-duty acceleration tool, the Kimi K2.5 sets a new benchmark. If this is what open source AI looks like in 2026, the gap between human intent and finished output is surely at a new low.
