The Ralph Lauren suite at Wimbledon has quietly become the one room where half the screen and British fashion appear on the same afternoon. This year it was Simone Ashley, Andrew Garfield, Emma Corrin, Michaela Coel and Anna Wintour, all from Ralph Lauren.

Wimbledon’s Ralph Lauren suite kicked off on July 4, and the guest list read like a casting sheet: Simone Ashley, Andrew Garfield, Emma Corrin, Michaela Coel, Stephen Graham and Sienna Miller, with Anna Wintour holding court.

Garfield stepped out with his girlfriend Monica Barbaro, making a rare public outing following a dinner date in Rome last week. He brought back his grown-up wavy hair and full beard, a year on from the transplant interview that followed him.

Corrin and Coel come from different corners of the same industry, one from Crown, the other from I May Destroy You, both dressed head to toe in the label that sponsors the whole thing.

The suite does this every summer: it places people who won’t share the red carpet a few meters from each other on the strawberries and the central court.
