Oracle is expanding its AI agents with marketing, sales and CS teams

Oracle today announced multiple role-based AI agents for revenue teams using Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. New agents are embedded within marketing, sales and service processes to provide insights through aggregated data, help automate processes and deliver predictive insights.

Like the previous batch of AI agents Oracle announced in October 2025, there are agents for marketing, sales and customer success experts in the latest release. Agents are pre-built and integrated natively within Oracle Fusion applications at no additional cost.

While it’s easy for marketing teams to feel overwhelmed by the number of AI tools hitting the market, Oracle advises its customers to take it one step at a time, according to Rob Pinkerton, SVP at Oracle.

“What we tell our clients is to think big, start small and act fast,” Pinkerton told MarTech. “If you think a lot about what AI means, it means that, in fact, marketers will be able to do a lot more things. They will spend more time doing things like thinking big thoughts, collaborating, managing differences, looking for patterns … more creative aspects of marketing than the hard, practical, grinding work they have to do now.”

While AI messages may seem overwhelming, Pinkerton sees a situation similar to what marketers have faced when selecting martech applications from an ecosystem saturated with thousands. As those requests were brought to marketing technology stacks, the work never stopped.

“There are a lot of jobs marketers have to do right now,” Pinkerton said. “They look like IT professionals in other organizations.”

Dive deep: How agent AI is changing the future of marketing

AI agents uncover silos of organizational data

Where Oracle stakes its claim in the agent AI space is its ability to unleash its agents on Oracle applications that reach beyond the martech stack and Oracle applications used by financial, operations and services organizations. For sellers, this means more information.

Pinkerton said the most valuable information lives in archives where advertisers can’t see it. That includes details of the purchase cycle customers have gone through, their service record, shipping details, customer support and service levels, order management, equipment maintenance and more.

“And the point is, what many of these agents are doing is not reducing silos, but exposing them,” Pinkerton said.

This type of information is very important for marketers who understand that the big change is happening in marketing.

“The battleground for marketers has changed, and some have realized it and some haven’t,” Pinkerton said. “It’s no longer a job to find opportunities online, that’s been a job for 15 years.

With digital channels well-chosen, Pinkerton said marketers should shift their focus from unknown online prospects to known customers and use that information to grow business.

“If they have to change that way, they need more business intelligence about their customers, so they can create better campaigns, better messages, better strategies and they need that data.”
