Tech Moves: HP director leaves; AWS leader leaves; Truveta adds new leaders

– Elizabeth Scallona longtime leader in Seattle’s startup ecosystem, is gone HP after working for almost four years as director of technology and business incubation and strategy.
“At HP, I had the privilege of going deep into technologies ranging from microfluidics and chip cooling to edge systems, security silicon, collaborative platforms, biometrics, authentication, and computer vision. I loved supporting and building new businesses from idea to prototype to customer hands,” said Scallon on LinkedIn.
Scallon is also an associate professor at the University of Washington and has held leadership roles at Amazon and WeWork. He was the director of UW’s CoMotion Labs for five years and co-founded Find Ventures, an investment firm that emphasized equal access to capital. Scallon did not say what he did next.

– Chris Blandy retired from his role in Amazon Web Services where he was the global leader of strategy and business development for media and entertainment.
Blandy’s position was based in Santa Monica, Calif. Previous roles include senior leadership at Walt Disney, Fox and Hulu.

– The Milkana Brace he joined SageOx as founder and chief product officer. The Seattle startup’s first phase is building tools for native AI teams where humans and coding agents work together.
In April 2025, Brace left Remitly as senior vice president of consumer product to take a sabbatical. He has previously founded and led Jargon and held leadership roles at Expedia and Groupon.
Braced said on LinkedIn “out of nowhere” Ajit Banerjee he reached out and “asked me to build something with him. I cut my sabbatical. On my first day back, we looked at the whole company. Thirty days later, we shipped.”

– Edo founder and former director of strategy Courtney Blodgett he left the Seattle-based energy software company.
“I’ve had the privilege of helping grow the vision of being a company that delivers on-demand flexibility and customer support to 7,000+ facilities and locations across the country,” Blodgett said on LinkedIn.
The initiative was established six years ago to allow commercial buildings to contribute to the grid during times of peak demand. Blodgett serves as principal and founder of Cordelette Consulting while exploring “the next chapter in building effective climate solutions.”
– Seattle area health data company Truveta hired a number of new employees, including several leadership positions:

- Kia Edwardsa manger for selling high-end products
- Stef’n Ellissenior product designer
- Alaina Myricksenior clinical data scientist
- Upendra Chennadisenior security engineer
Company in January Dr Johnathan Lancaster as president and chief scientific officer.

– Continuous tech implementation Bayou Energy so called Yoon Loon Wong (Andrew) as chief of staff. The Seattle-based business offers technology that pulls customer data from US utilities to provide real-time information on energy use and usage over time.
“Andrew brings a combination of strategy, operations, and first-hand experience. He was an early employee at a clean energy startup, where he built the sales strategy and operations from the ground up and helped launch an $8M EPC. [engineering, procurement and construction] marketplace,” said Bayou leaders on LinkedIn.
Wong’s previous employers include Lumen Energy and Google, where he was manager of go-to-market strategy and operations.
– Brian Hansford senior vice president of marketing at National Cybersecurity Allianceis a Seattle-based non-profit organization that supports cybersecurity education and security for individuals and businesses. He joins from Pontara, a vendor-engineered product development platform, where he was co-founder and chief growth officer. Other previous roles include leadership at LiveRamp, Icertis, MediaPRO and others.
– Seattle-based Scott Schliebner he is the chief executive of P1 trialsa startup that describes itself as “a network of world-class, community-based oncology research sites capable of conducting complex Phase 1 clinical trials.”
Schliebner has held a number of advisory and consulting roles in recent years, and was senior vice president of scientific affairs and therapeutic expertise for PRA Health Sciences for a decade ending in 2022. He has also held leadership roles at Cancer Research and Biostatistics, MedSource and Seattle Genetics.
– After more than four years, Rob Moore he left his role as vice president of order-to-cash at Seattle-based payment technology company Remitly. He is now a financial professional at Nothinga health and fitness services company based in California. Moore’s past employers include Nordstrom and Deloitte.
“Stop having fun, and move on to the next one. It’s been my privilege to fight the ‘good guys’ at Remily every day, on behalf of our strong and inspiring clients,” Moore said on LinkedIn.
Remitly co-founder Matt Oppenheimer last month he announced that he was stepping down as CEO after nearly 15 years.
– Monod Bioa Seattle biotech company that makes computational protein structures, so-called Robert Bujarski on its board of directors. Bujarski previously served as EVP and chief operating officer at QuidelOrtho Corporation for 20 years.
