SCORPIO (10/23 – 11/21)
Scorpio won’t let you see how seriously they take your criticism. They will mock the situation but focus on the last thing you said to them, memorize it until it becomes a tattoo in their mind. They see no alternative when they talk to you right away, accept the answer, and give you their own in return.
SAGITTARIUS (11/22 – 12/21)
Sagittarius can eat it and take it. If the criticism is not constructive, they are guaranteed to clap their hands again, pointing out the faults of their critic. But in cases where the answer comes from a source of knowledge or authority, Sagittarius knows how to be a professional player. In fact, they are known to thrive when pushed with good intentions.
CAPRICORN (12/22 – 1/19)
A Capricorn under fire maintains a calm and gentle exterior, while on the inside they plot their way out with a little revenge cherry on top. They’re the helpers you don’t want to piss off if you don’t want your dirty laundry to show up on Page Six. Don’t choose someone who knows all your passwords.
AQUARIUS (1/20 – 2/18)
Aquarius always thinks that criticism is justified, that they really don’t understand enough, haven’t done their homework, and have some fatal flaw in their identity that creates a blind spot. While there are a few times when this is true, it shouldn’t be automatic. Aquarius never reaches conclusions and can depend on their beliefs.
PISCES (2/19 – 3/20)
Pisces cannot be criticized because most people do not understand their interests or tastes. They are often judged for being secretive and breaking social norms. Like Belle, they don’t have time to worry about French peasants when they go to Enchanted Castles. Amiright or amiright?
ARIES (3/21 – 4/19)
Aries can feel personally attacked under criticism. Their reputation is everything to them, so if someone threatens it, it can feel like a declaration of war, or at least a conflict without a visible resolution. It takes true diplomacy to back down from ill-advised comments in Aries, so watch what you say.
TAURUS (4/20 – 5/20)
Taurus concentrates any criticism to the point of jealousy. They know that they live a good life, and they enjoy many enviable benefits in their day to day life. Anyone looking for something negative to say just undermines their insecurities, and Taurus is too busy to be happy to give it a second thought.
GEMINI (5/21 – 6/20)
Gemini can’t take too little criticism or it will, I swear, be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. They have it so a lot on their plate, so if anyone wants to complain without asking to lend a hand first, they can bite. They do their best and that’s it.
CANCER (6/21 – 7/22)
Cancer is their best critic, so if someone else decides to share their two cents, they can handle it. They know what their mistakes are, they take ownership of them, but they also know how to cut themselves short. Whatever it is, it’s not the end of the world, and they won’t let anyone make them believe it is.
LEO (7/23 – 8/22)
Criticism is part of the package when you’re as deep as a Leo. Friend groups this big always have their beef, and if someone is going to pick up Leo, he has 10 people ready to have their back and jump into the group chat. With this kind of support, there is nothing they cannot complete.
VIRGO (8/23 – 9/22)
If you have something to say to a Virgo about them that isn’t praise, be careful. Unless you’ve spent months editing these comments, and fully beefed up your defenses, they’re going to blow your mind. But if you are justified in your criticism, they will continue to hurt themselves.
LIBRA (9/23 – 10/22)
Libra is built to handle criticism like an actor who is used to waiting tables and losing roles but also knows that in the end, something will stick. So if it’s not this time, it’s okay, because it’s not the last time. They have more to offer and more risks to take. There is little that does not come from them.
