LEO
Leo has trouble being alone after a breakup, and why should they when they have the support system they do? Friends, family, and colleagues all value their time, energy, and personality. So when a partner decides a Leo isn’t for them and moves on, there’s an endless list of people who appreciate them. They can jump into that social interaction looking for quick relief, and often won’t express the true extent of their hurt or embarrassment in front of others. They will put on a brave face and try to focus on the good things in their lives. The problem is that they still need to grieve, and the more they put off that task, the more they fill their calendar with things to do, the harder it is to process their true feelings beneath all that denial.
VIRGO
Virgos have an image to protect. They move forward before they are ready to come out of the combination of unbelief and unbelief. It’s very painful to be hurt when you have this image of someone who can’t hurt you, and will pretend to be like that in front of the whole world to save face. They will upset their ex, not only by leaving but even more by popping their bubble. By pushing in their face that they are sensitive and vulnerable and capable of being disappointed. Virgos are so independent that they will throw themselves into a caricature of that quality in the sense that it is good that they are single because they are good at being alone. But there is a difference between being able to take care of yourself and wanting to be alone.
SCORPIO
Scorpios have a very healthy level of self-confidence. They know that the person who walks out the door has no effect on their wishes. There is no question about their importance. The news of their celibacy is a source of excitement and fame. Their allure can have a line of suitors cornered in no time. But having options is not the same as having a deep connection with someone, and it takes a lot to get a Scorpio to trust another person and the future of the relationship. They will try to comfort themselves by enjoying the attention of their loved ones, the attention they may have missed towards the end of their relationship, but it is just a way to pass the time until their heart heals.
SAGITTARIUS
Sagittarians always have some backup plan cooked up in their minds. An “in case you break up” plot to move to France and enroll in culinary school, teach English in Asia, or become a bartender in a Scottish pub. They will hide their disappointment in the dream, willing to think that anything is possible without actually getting hurt. They want to escape, they love to dream but they rarely pull the trigger on anything. The thoughts themselves are enough to distract them from reality. They become a comfort and a reason to move forward. “I wouldn’t have been able to do x,y,z if we hadn’t broken up” becomes their words over and over again because they would rather have a clean slate than look at the broken pieces of their failed relationship.
