My heart is tired of waiting for the right person to knock on my door. I have opened the door to men who only cause destruction to the walls of my heart. And when they walked out of my life, they took a piece of my heart that I will never find again.

I am tired of giving my time to temporary people. I’m tired of giving my heart to men who don’t want to make it their forever home. I’m tired of mending my own heart after a failed relationship. And I’m tired of not getting as much love as I give.

Yes, I am tired but I still have hope. I know that I will eventually find a man who will see my heart as his home, but I am not looking for him because God, I trust that you will bring the right person to me at the right time.

I have been praying for this person for years, now I know the reason why you have not answered my prayer is because you are working to find the right person for me. I have faith that you will bring me a better person than what I prayed for. The choices I made when it came to men were wrong, but now I choose to trust you, and guide me to my man.

God, I trust you because you are the one who loves me more than all, you know exactly what my heart desires. You can see through me and know what is good for me. You have love. You are kind. He is very handsome, and I hope to find a man with those qualities again. And I know that when the time is right, you will lead me to a man who will love me like you do.

I am grateful for your love and kindness in my life. I know that you truly have the answers to lasting love. And while you work to bring me the perfect man, I am asking you to help me align my vision of men with yours.

God, give me strength in the days when I feel the pain of marriage. Please put my heart at ease that night when I wish to have a lover by my side. I have to admit that sometimes it feels lonely, and I wonder when this person will come into my life. But I know you’re working to bring us together, and the day the stars align, you’ll make sure we cross paths. I believe you are working through my eternal person.
