Angelina Jolie has an idea why so many Geminis end up as actors

“I’m a Gemini, what are Geminis like? I think we make the mistake of saying that we have two faces, but maybe we have 20, which is probably why many of us are actors. I think the mistake is the idea that there is a real side and a fake side, the real side or the fake side.
I think we have many, many sides. So we’re a little mercurial, and maybe we find all kinds of interesting people, all kinds of interesting lifestyles. We are not fixed. So I think we are misunderstood sometimes, like everyone else. Everyone misunderstands.”
Angelina Jolie gave this answer during W Magazine’s “Screen Test” interview with Lynn Hirschberg, who filmed her role as opera legend Maria Callas in the 2024 film Maria. The magazine also cuts a clip on her June birthday, as Jolie, who was born on June 4, 1975, is a Gemini herself.
What starts as a throwaway astrology question turns into something sharp. The Gemini cliche is a person with two faces, one real and one made up. Jolie is changing the situation. It is a mistake to believe that one face is the truth and the other is a mask.

With his statistics it is close to 20 sides, not one of them is false, which is how he reaches the players. People who make a living moving among themselves have more room to work than a single fixed person would allow.

He puts it where everyone stops. Mercurial, curious about every human being, is never fixed, and can be misunderstood at times, like everyone else.
