Five tips for having the best time at Puregold OPM Con Generations 2026
One night fueled by oxytocin, performances by powerhouse OPM, and thousands of fans – all these await concertgoers at Puregold OPM Con Generations 2026, a sold-out music event known as one of the country’s biggest celebrations of Original Pilipino Music.
Returning to the Smart Araneta Coliseum on July 11, this year’s show raises the bar with its most diverse lineup to date, bringing together SB19, Ben&Ben, Alamat, Flow G, Skusta Clee, SunKissed Lola, G22, KAIA, and XONARA in one amazing performance.
From P-pop and hip-hop to folk-pop and rock, this year’s concert lineup showcases the many sounds shaping today’s OPM scene. If you’re among the lucky fans who got tickets, here are five tips to help you make the most of your OPM Con experience.
Stay hydrated and fuel your energy. Concerts can test your patience, especially with a full show. To keep you energized throughout the show, remember to drink plenty of water and eat a full meal before entering the venue. Please note that reusable cups, drinks, and food are not allowed inside.
Arrive early — and explore the area. As with any big concert, expect long lines for security checks and to get into the venue, especially as show time approaches. Showing up two or three hours before the concert gives you enough time to clear security, find your seat, and check out the exciting product booths nearby before the show starts.
While you’re there, take the time to visit the Negosyo Fan Zone located on the second floor of Puregold Cubao, where several local businesses will be offering handmade and customized fan merchandise. The fan zone will also feature exciting interactive activities, perfect for reminiscing about the concert or supporting your favorite OPM artists. Best of all, it’s open to everyone, regardless of whether or not you have a concert ticket.
Dress up for an all-night concert race. Prioritize comfort, as you will be singing, dancing, and having fun for hours. Wear breathable clothing and comfortable sneakers, and avoid bringing anything that might survive. Think getting ready for a concert, not just getting ready for a photo.
Pack only the essentials. Bring your ticket, valid ID, phone, wallet, and a fully charged power bank. The lightness of the packing makes the inspection of the protection quick and allows you to travel comfortably everywhere. To avoid delays at the door, review the event’s prohibited items list before you leave home.
Finally, dip every time. Take pictures, record your favorite chorus, and share the fun online, but don’t spend all night scrolling through your phone. OPM Con Generations was conceived to bring together different generations and fans in one unforgettable celebration.
