A high school science teacher in Georgia is facing a widening criminal case involving six young students, as unconfirmed rumors of OnlyFans blackmail followed an online investigation.

Maris Nichols, 25, a teacher at Alexander High School in Douglas County, has been charged with multiple sexual offenses involving students. Search warrants reviewed by local outlets describe an investigation that began on May 5, 2026, after school officials contacted the County Sheriff’s Office about videos found on a student’s phone.

What started as an investigation involving another student quickly escalated. Within weeks, investigators were looking into allegations involving six teenagers, including requests for sex in a classroom, a parked Hummer, and other locations. Another student allegedly filmed Nichols having sex while wearing a “Jesus Loves You” sweater, according to warrants cited in the local report.

Nichols was first arrested for allegedly having sex with a student. About two weeks later, authorities added 11 more charges, including child molestation, grooming and tampering with evidence. Investigators say he pressured at least one student to delete messages, and warrants sought digital records, surveillance images, genetic material and fingerprints tied to specific students and locations.
The warrants also refer to videos and graphic images Nichols allegedly sent to students, including content involving her husband. In the recounted case, investigators also detailed allegations involving the female student, including allegations that Nichols showed her sexually graphic material, discussed sexual topics with her, and sent nude photos.
The most virulent claim in this case, however, remains uncertain. WSB-TV reported that the search warrants referred to allegations that students accessed Nichols’ OnlyFans account and used it to pressure him to get better grades. But 11Alive, which also reviewed the warrants, reported that investigators saw the OnlyFans account and the blackmail-for-grades story as claims circulating on social media, not as confirmed findings. Warranties do not guarantee that an account has existed or that any fraudulent scheme has occurred.
That distinction is important. The confirmed case, as stated so far, is already serious: a teacher accused of sexually abusing and training multiple students, and investigators seeking records from Snapchat, OnlyFans, AT&T, and other sources as they process the evidence. OnlyFans’ allegations may be part of the case, but right now they seem to be sitting in an awkward place between warrant leads, internet rumors, and an unsubstantiated claim.
Nichols had worked at Alexander High School for only a few years. He reportedly started around April 2023 as a football operations manager before moving into a biology teaching position. After the allegations surfaced, the school removed him from its website.
As of June 19, 2026, Nichols is out on nearly $74,000 bond. No pleas have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing. No confirmed leaks or eyewitness descriptions of any alleged fan-only content have been revealed in the general report. Much of the online chatter instead focuses on people trying to get an account and speculation about whether the blackmail claims are true.
