Google is rolling out new AI security features in Ads Advisor

Google is adding three new “agent” security features to Ads Advisor, its AI assistant within Google Ads, aimed at reducing manual work while strengthening security and compliance.
As campaigns grow more complex, marketers spend more time fixing policy issues, controlling access, and managing certificates. Google pitch: let AI handle the heavy lifting so marketers can focus on performance.
What’s new. The update introduces proactive troubleshooting, always-on security monitoring, and faster certifications – all powered by the power of AI and Gemini.
Zoom in on the image:
- Ads Advisor can now flag and help resolve policy violations automatically, even before advertisers notice.
- It monitors accounts 24/7, revealing risks such as suspicious domains or inactive users with a new security dashboard.
- Certificates that once took weeks can now be issued instantly or submitted with one click.
How does this work. Instead of waiting for user input, Ads Advisor continuously scans accounts and websites, suggests fixes, and confirms resolution before complaints are submitted. On the security side, it continuously checks account health and recommends upgrades, while new passkey support reduces reliance on passwords.
Why do we care. Tasks that used to take hours – correcting policy issues, monitoring account security, and managing certificates – can now be done proactively with Ads Advisor, reducing latency and aiming to reduce risk. The result is faster campaign execution, fewer distractions, and less manual overhead.
What you can watch. These features are available in the coming months for English language accounts, and more languages are expected later.
Bottom line. Google is making Ad Advisor a hands-on operator, not just an assistant — aiming to make ad accounts safer, faster, and less manual.
