Ferran Torres scored the extra-time winner to beat Argentina 1-0 in the World Cup final on Sunday, July 19, and is spending the days afterward the way a new national hero should go: sun, sea, and a pink drink on the rocks of Ibiza.
He and fellow Spaniard Marcos Llorente hit the Mediterranean coast this week to cool off after the win, both showing off their tanned bodies and taking a dip in the sea between drinks.
The journey of victory has been endless. Torres flew home to Madrid with the team on July 20, met King Felipe VI at the Zarzuela Palace, and rode an open-top bus through Cibeles Square where the cup was played that same day.
By July 22nd he had traded crowds for the coast, and the next day he was seen on a ferry from Formentera with Llorente and Marc Pubill.
