Top Intelligence Official Says Orbs Fired Around Pilot Plane, Came Within 10 Feet Of Rotor, Then Skipped Pursuit Fighters

The Department of Defense has released the first batch of unclassified UAP files. The release is the first batch under President Trump’s PURSUE program, the Presidential Uncovering and UAP Encounter Reporting Program. One CONFIDENTIAL/NOFORN witness statement is the most binding document in the bundle.

Titled “USPER Statement About UAP Sighting,” the report is a timeline from the top U.S. intelligence official detailing the multi-hour helicopter mission to late 2025. The witness was joined in the room by the second highest intelligence officer and the pilots of the government-affiliated organization. They were searching the mountains west of the isolated area after ground crews reported seeing orbs and hearing “thuds as if something had fallen and hit the ground.”

The mission was supposed to be a daytime search. By 22:00 they were in the air.

At 22:02, the Listening Post/Observation Post team was tracking an orb on FLIR described as “very hot” and hovering at low level. The orb broke into two objects traveling south at high speed. The helicopter could not keep up with the speed and gave up the chase. The driver’s assistant reported that he was watching what was seen at night as something came out of the two objects and moved from the other direction at high speed.

The LP/OP then relayed that the orb “gained altitude, came within ten meters of it [Call Sign 1]” Before heading east 5 US military aircraft were in the air conducting a training exercise.
At 22:18, witnesses saw a multitude of lights “too numerous to count” moving in all directions. At 22:27, the report continues:

“[Witness 1 (naked eye) and the pilots (NVG)] two large orbs appeared nearby [Call Sign 1] west and above the rotor disk. From the point of view of the physical eye, the two orbs appear to burn and remain stationary side by side. They appear oval-shaped, orange in color with white or yellow centers and emit light from all directions. After a few seconds, a third orb appeared under the two, then another under that until there were four or five in total under the first two.”

Over the next 30 minutes, similar horizontal formations appeared in different locations. A triangular formation of 3 orbs. A wave that travels in all directions. 4 orbs blazed over the descending warplane. Each formation dimmed in reverse before the next appeared.

The witness’s own conclusion, included at the end of the statement: “Orbs were seen coming out [Call Sign 1] and pursue the [military aircraft].”

The pilots stated that they were recording but most of what was seen was above the helicopter, outside of the FLIR camera angle. The helicopter ran out of fuel and returned to its base at 23:16.

The document is very detailed in terms of names, specific locations, partner organization, and the type of military aircraft involved. It is one of nearly 160 records on PURSUE’s first release, which many collectors are looking forward to.
