Zendaya shared a story from her childhood about the lesson her parents taught her early on: that staying silent in the face of bullying has consequences.

According to this actor, his parents kicked him out when he was in the fifth grade. The reason was not that he was abusing another girl — it was that he watched it happen but said nothing.

The damsel in distress was not Zendaya’s intention. He just stopped and watched, and it was enough for his parents to drag him to his father’s office and give him.
