May 8, 2026: Last week’s AI updates – Introduction of Coder Agents, Snyk-Claude partnership, Opsera-Cursor partnership, and more

LLMs find disability faster than organizations can deal with. The Snyk platform measures the findings to prioritize and create adjustments within the workflow. Claude’s powers of reasoning are two-fold: sharp discovery and quick, high-confidence resolution.
“As AI dramatically accelerates how quickly developers can write code, traditional security can’t keep up,” said Manoj Nair, Chief Innovation Officer at Snyk. “Using Claude’s advanced thinking within the Snyk AI Security Platform, we are equipping businesses with an intelligent, autonomous security system that complements AI-driven innovation.”
The integration of Anthropic’s Claude models into the Snyk AI Security Platform is available to corporate customers today, with extended access from 2026. To learn more, visit snyk.io or contact your Snyk account team.
Opsera and Cursor Partners Embed Autonomous AI Agents Directly in AI-SDLC Workflows
Agentic DevOps platform provider Opsera has announced a partnership with code assistant Cursor to bridge the gap between developer speed and enterprise-grade security, compliance monitoring and architecture.
Opsera’s DevSecOps Agents can now be embedded in Cursor’s IDE to ensure high-speed code generation in line with business standards.
To accelerate development, we must empower developers by embedding security, compliance, and architectural standards directly into their workflow,” said Kumar Chivukula, Co-Founder and CEO of Opsera. “With Opsera and Cursor, we
enabling teams to accelerate software delivery with autonomous agents running on the Cursor IDE to ensure that AI-driven speed remains consistent with enterprise-grade delivery.”
The integration uses Opsera AI Agents as a native one-click Cursor plug-in, allowing quick access to key agents, including:
- Architecture Analyzer: Validates AI-generated code against specific business design patterns and architecture standards.
- Security and SQL Scanner: Identifies risks using advanced static analysis and prevents data exposure at creation time.
- Compliance Auditor: Automate SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR evidence collection triggered by direct developer work.
The partnership is building an integrated AI-SDLC ecosystem, which combines the inner loop of code creation with the outer loop of production. For developers, security, compliance, and architecture monitoring tools are built into the Cursor workflow from the first line of code, eliminating late-stage review conflicts. For software leaders, the system provides a unified intelligence dashboard that tracks ROI, developer experience, and risk status throughout the AI-SDLC lifecycle.
Prismatic Introduces Claude Code Capabilities to Help Developers Deploy Integrations Faster
Integration platform provider Prismatic has announced Prismatic Capabilities for Claude Code, a new open source plugin that enables developers to quickly deploy integrations within Claude Code.
Tools like Claude Code can generate high-quality code quickly, but integration remains a bottleneck because it requires a deep understanding of authentication, multi-tenant deployments, connector behavior, webhook lifecycles, and the operational infrastructure behind it.
Claude’s Prismatic Code abilities give Claude that context. Instead of producing code alone, Claude works with a thorough understanding of how integration works in production. The plugin works alongside the Prism MCP dev server, which connects Claude directly to the Prismatic environment, so Skills provide information and the MCP dev server provides access. And because Prismatic integration is native to TypeScript, Claude can work with them directly.
“AI coding assistants can generate assembly code, but they don’t understand how assembly works in production,” said Tanner Burson, CTO at Prismatic. “Prismatic’s skills give Claude the context and skills to build and implement integration at the end, without leaving room for development.”
Prismatic Skills supports the complete integration lifecycle directly in Claude Code and includes:
CNI Builder: Build or modify native code integration using custom components and existing connectors
Component Builder: Creates custom components for the APIs you need to connect to
Embed Advisor: Helps implement integrated customer-facing experiences with an embedded marketplace or custom UI
Orby: Monitors and manages your site, including logs, troubleshooting, and updates
Migration Analyzer: Helps migrate existing integrations to Prismatic
Claude’s Prismatic Skills Code is free and open source for all Prismatic clients outside of the programming category, and is now available on GitHub. For more information, read the blog.
Accurately Developing Agentic-Ready Data with New Agent AI, Data Product Marketplace, and MCP-Enabled APIs
It precisely announced new capabilities in its Data Integrity Suite to help organizations own, share, and use Agent-Ready Data governed by high-quality AI-enhanced, automation, and analytics systems. The release introduces a Data Integration Agent that joins the Gio AI Assistant, a data product marketplace integrated into the Data Integrity Suite in partnership with Huwise, and extended APIs that are now accessible through the Directly Hosted Server (Model Context Protocol) of MCP.
The latest enhancements to the Precisely Data Integrity Suite include:
Data Integration Agent helps teams design and configure data replication pipelines by managing setup, schema mapping, and validation tasks โ reducing manual effort, improving consistency, and accelerating time-to-value. This agent joins the previously announced Gio AI assistant and a growing collection of specialized AI agents for data quality, enrichment, and more.
The Data Product Marketplace, available in partnership with Huwise, a leading provider of data marketplace solutions, enables organizations to publish and share trusted data products for internal and external use, so teams can reuse high-integrity data across the business, collaborate with partners, and power analytics and AI without rebuilding data for each project.
New APIs for Data Integration, Data Quality, and Data Catalog provide structured control over data pipelines, quality rules, and metadata โ enabling AI-driven workflow automation and integration.
The Managed Precision Model Content Protocol (MCP) server extends the APIs of the Data Integrity Suite, allowing AI agents and tools to securely discover, access, and use these capabilities without custom integration. This builds on Precisely’s previously released MCP server, which focuses on spatial intelligence and data enrichment APIs.
“Organizations are eager to scale AI, but data readiness remains the biggest hurdle,” said Matt Waxman, Chief Product Officer at Precisely. “With the latest release of the Data Integrity Suite and our partnership with Huwise for the Data Product Marketplace, we’re helping customers transform their data into a trusted, reusable asset that can directly power AI applications and agent-driven workflows.”
