Ben Savage Spotted With His Daughter In LA, Months After His Boy Met The International Friends He Says He Has For Years
Independent international star Mfana meets a new father, in public, with the daughter he welcomed with his wife Tessa last November. Meanwhile, those who used to play with him, said that they have never heard of him.
Ben Savage and his wife Tessa Angermeier welcomed their daughter on November 26, 2025, and announced her arrival on Instagram with the simple caption “Welcome little one.” He shared pictures from the hospital wearing a “daddy girl” shirt. No public name of the child has been reported.
Savage, 45, played Cory Matthews on Boy Meets World and its sequel Girl Meets World. He is the younger brother of Fred Savage from The Wonder Years.
She and Angermeier started dating in 2018 and kept things low-key for years. Tessa, a senior illustrator who works for the luxury furniture brand Ben Soleimani, first appeared on her Instagram in August 2018.
Ben proposed in early 2023 in front of a lake in his hometown of Owensville, Indiana, posting a photo with his visible ring and the caption “The best is yet to come.” They married on February 18, 2023 at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California, a day Tessa called a “party of love.”
The couple announced they were expecting in May 2025. “November can’t come soon enough,” Tessa wrote at the time. The family now lives in the Los Angeles area.
Children’s stories deal with the public alienation of their older counterparts. Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle host the rewatch podcast Pod Meets World, and they said that Ben came up early about joining or appearing and made it clear that it wasn’t for him. Around 2020, they say he stopped answering texts and calls completely. All three have repeatedly explained that there are “ghosts,” no fighting and disagreements.
They began to elaborate on it in 2023. In early 2025, and in 2026 while promoting their documentary Doc Meets World, Friedle and Fishel confirmed that they had not yet spoken to him. Friedle said she “can’t believe” that Ben won’t talk to them, and that Ben “just bailed” on the relationship after decades of friendship.
Ben has always been very quiet on the subject. He never joined the podcast team or any major reunion, and as of the latest updates in 2026 the split is ongoing.
